As usual, spent Christmas Day with some of the dogs on an outing to the training ground.  This is a video of some of my "Oldies" celebrating Christmas.

They're a credit to you Margaret!  Terrific looking for their age and still enjoying life.

Thanks Missbeeb

My dogs do tend to live actively into their teens and it's nice to see them still getting fun out of life.  The first two are younger dogs of course, they go back to my first GSD brood who was born in 1970 ish, 10 generations over 30+ years.

Thanks Bazza

Gerry the German was my first import and he is still as stunning to look at now as he was when I bought him.  He was my first lesson  in the difference between showdog schutzhund and real schutzhund too,  he was a very good dog in his youth, but would never have qualified at a trial in UK without considerable training as his understanding of a  three phase Schutzhund round was sketchy to say the least.  Nonetheless, he has produced very  well for me and has several  progeny who became police dogs and is a credit to his breeder who was amazed that the UK police would even look at a showline dog, let alone buy one!

Margaret, Gerry and i have somethung in common then as my understanding of Schutzund is sketchy also, lol. But he is most certainly stunning looking for an older boy!!!
