She went in today because she had another bout of Pancreatitis.(Threw up 5 x in an hour.) She will be 11 1/2 in Feb. The last bout was 13 months ago. The Vet also discovered a Heart Murmur. Was not there previously. (Her age.)
Lexie also has EPI.
Say a prayer for her. I contacted her breeder, to tell her about Lexie and not a word! NICE, Huh!
Thank-you!

hello Dawn.poor Lexie.i hope she pulls through.i had a male gsd who was diagnosed with EPI at nearly 7 and he developed heart trouble.i only found that out when he had to go to the vets as he wouldnt eat and was losing more weight than normal for EPI.unfortunately he was put to sleep aged 8yrs.9 mths,so i know what you are going through.did you actually speak to the breeder.may i ask how old was lexie when epi was 1st diagnosed, just for my own records.thank you and you will both be in my prayers.

Noddi and all.
Lexie was diagnosed at about 14 months of age. No, I did not speak to the breeder. Left a message on the Cell phone.
I heard from the Vet last night, (Sat..11:25pm.) and the preliminary bloodwork looks good, and she did not throw up, and kept everything down.
