Thank you for asking bazza,

just got off the phone with the vet tech that is tube feeding her, & she's still with us, that's very good news,

there are no guarantees, but I have a good feeling, she will call me later this afternoon & give me an update,

say a prayer for that little one, she is 2 days old today!

  Thanks again for asking,

             Paula

Paula, i had no idea the little one was being fed by the vet,  i'm sure she will come on leaps and bounds.  Many many years ago i bred a litter with a tiny puppy, and i mean tiny!!!   I was totally convinced he was a dwarf, i even had other breeders check him out.  Everyone disagreed with me, but he remained a third of the others size until he left me at 9 weeks. That being said he was always first to feed, first to open his eyes, first to walk, and first to find his way out of the whelping box!!!!  We called him Mouse as that is what he looked like,  1 year after he left he came for a visit and he was absolutely stunningly normal sized.  So do not be disheartened,  sending your little one some of those good vibes, and please keep the updates coming.

Thanks everyone,

I just spoke to the vet tech, she will take her home tonight, then bring her to work in the morning, she said the pup was drinking from a bottle & using her little arms like she would with mom, she weighed 7.6 ounces yesterday & today, she hasn't lost or gained which sounds promising, she's going potty normal, I hope to have her back sometime next week.

I told my daughter that the cat might be her dad and she almost believed me...(My daughter's 18 yrs old...)

This is the pup nursing off her mom the day she was born, she just wasn't nursing too vigorous,

She's the 3rd one in from the left...she actually looks big in the pic.....
