It seems to me that sooner or later in a pleasant and well ordered Posts, i.e." Hamza - Want to see some Working Dogs?" someone comes along and starts getting really nasty, why.
I thought this was about GSD`s , not about Grammar, peoples ego`s, let`s see who we can have a go at today, etc.
Please note I posted an innocent request on a Forum about SKY Tv, and got similar sort of replies. So its not just confined to this Forum.
Please note:- We are a smalltime GSD owners who sometimes show our GSD (UK), train to KC Good Citizens Standerd as a matter of course, go to many shows to watch including German and British Sieger, and just want to enjoy what is out there, is that a crime??
We Know many, and are on nodding terms with many Breeders and show people.
Our Affix is STRYVYA, we live in Cornwall, my Name Len Gill. now nowhere to hide
(Proberply a few spelling grammar mistakes someone will take this personal, etc) SORRY about that, i`m not perfect

Lennard, i see you are new here, please please take the time to click on a persons name (Hamza) and look at their comments before you post. It may help you understand why some people are commenting the way they are, he is one of the rudest children i have ever came across. In my day we use to say "children should be seen and not heard", also i was taught to respect my elders. This little boy needs a good spanking!!!!!

Welcome Len - not everyone on here is nasty. But it is an unmoderated (more or less) Board, so the bad stuff (generally) doesn't get removed. I agree with the above though - some people post in a manner which encourages the sort of response you have run across: i.e.they are "asking" for it. If you stay here long enough you will learn to simply ignore certain posters, and just focus on the worthwhile ones.

Surely if Hamaza166 is who & what he says he is then he needs encouragement & not to be treated like some some unruly schoolkid??
My Grandaughter at the age of 10yrs took my Dog thro his KC Bronze test, now at 12yrs she is taking 1 of our Bitchs tho the BH Test, should I tell her she wearing the wrong colour Hat, Don`t say "sit" but "walkies". Next Year she hopes to get a puppy of her own to do Obediance & Showing, if she were to read the comments by certain Forum members (no names, but see above) she maybe would say why bother if Adults are afraid I will show them up.
We in the UK need all the young handlers and influx we can get, not to deride them at every oppertunity, maybe hamaza was rude in the past but a lot of his recent posting have been well mannered and yet he is still being belittled

No need to be defensive Len - and it sounds as though you might just be the person to spend some time with Hamza166.
Give him that encouragement, if you feel he would truly benefit from your experience. My post didn't have him in mind particularly, I don't know who he is and I haven't read any of his posts. My comment was a general one, since you will run into "nasty" quite a bit if you elect to stay with this Board. You will also run into nice, helpful, and knowledgeable - which makes it all worthwhile.

I tend to ignore the nasty comment as the people who post them are not worth my concern,
I suggest Hamza 166 do the same there are some people within the breed that would welcome your enthusiasm
I would if lived local to you would be more than willing to take you to the show to help you gain more knowledge and
also introduce you to the more knowledgeable and kinder breeders.
You have my email and I am more than happy to pick you up and take you to a show if I am passing you area.

Len, he is being treated like an unruly school kid as that is the way he is behaving. I have youngsters who come to my kennels every day after school and weekends just to get involved and learn about dogs. They do everything from cleaning kennels, feeding, grooming and walking. They are hungry for knowledge which i freely give, not one of them would speak to an adult the way this young lad does. Maybe it's a different culture thing but it still does not excuse his lack of manners. He is asking questions and gets the answers but he does not seem to be listening. I am all for youngsters learning the ropes but some just cannot learn, maybe he needs to slow down a bit, and digest the info he has been given.

What more can he say, but you still have a go at him, grow up and take that chip off your shoulder
