Top coat and ear question - Page 1

Throughout the summer we have brushed our GSD often, because of course, it is heavy shedding season. However, she has lost some top coat because of the amount of brushing we have done. Just wondering, will her nice, dark top coat grow back as we get back into fall and winter or did we brush too much? Thank you.
 

One more question, her ears are up (she is just about a year old) but they are not very firm. They are always up, but when she plays or runs, ect. they get pretty floppy. Wil they firm up as she gets older or will they always be like that? Thanks for your help!
