DDR/Czech Breeder Info? - Page 1

Hello!

I am lookign at purchasing a eastern german shepherd and I have been looking at recommendations and have just a few to choose from here in the states and was wondering about this breeder and does ayone have any recommendations or can speak on this person?  I just try to do my due dilligence on everytone before I drop $1500+shipping on a pup I choose.  I wanted a young pup that was at least house broken (i can't house break a dog to save my life) and leash trained since he will live in the house but I can't find any or the price has been too rich for my blood ($3500+).  I wanted an adult trained but again that price for $4000 and up is too high for right now.  Oh and I don't plan on doing any show or sport with the dog.  Just personal protection traning and regular work to keep him happy.

Based on your needs and ability these dogs are not for you. If you can't house train a dog than you wont be able to maintain personal protection dog it will become liability in your hands most likely. If you still want a pet because based on your description this is pretty much all you need. Contact www.fidelco.org, they have good dogs for free to right homes. You would be doing a good dead and get a dog that is house broken and obedience trained. Just something to consider. Personal protection dogs are not toys and should be only owned by people that know how to deal with them. Good deterrent dog is all you need, one that will make a lot of noise, even fidelco dogs will do that for free. Keep that in mind.
