#1- I still legally own both Athos v.h. Sevens and Vinetta von Karthago.
I read on here that you say Athos arrived at your kennels with a Grade 4 heart condition.
Vickie, you told me 8 months ago Athos had a heart condition, despite the fact he passed his veterinarian health exam and seemed perfectly healthy before shipping. I believed you, it sounded very convincing. You are an experience veternarian technition, you know the entire lingo. I believed you even though he'd sired nine puppies just a couple of months before you purchased him, as well, and a sperm check was done around March with a good amount of sperm. Pretty good for a dog diagnosed with "advanced heart disease" in May.
For EIGHT MONTHS I've asked for the vet report or for the phone number so I can talk to the diagnosing vet of this supposed health issue and make recompensation to you. That still hasn't happened. How difficult is it for you to give me the diagnosing vet's phone number and give permission to talk to him about Athos' "heart condition"?
Furthermore, since you did not send the proof of Athos' health problems, I deposited the check you sent me for shipping (which I intended to return to you as payment towards your refund of monies for Athos if you proved he was indeed ill). That check was returned because it was written on a closed account. So you got me on the shipping for the dogs also.
About the first week of December, you called me to ask me about registering Vinetta's litter for you, since she was being bred that week. I asked you to again send me proof of Athos' health condition and I would send you the registration papers and all documents for Athos and Vinetta, waving what is owed to me, as a large part of the compensation that would be due you for what you'd paid thus far on Athos. You said you'd get the veterinarian records out that next Monday. Now it's January 23, and nothing has been sent. Isn't Vinetta almost due to whelp?
I legally still own both dogs. You haven't paid me in full for either one, you owe shipping on Athos, and you never proved any health problems for Athos via simple veterinarian records or a phone number for the diagnosing vet.
Now you are buying more dogs?
I have no kennels, I no longer train dogs or raise puppies due to my health difficulties. I have no stake in any dog politics. This is just the facts.

I am Cindy Thorne and Athos lives with me. I am waiting on OSU to mail me the itemized bill for Athos care and that won't include the $350 a month in heart medications he takes. Vickie is unable to post right now but will later. I don't believe your name was ever brought up either on the other post you posted too as well....she was not attacking you, didn't even bring up your name! Since Vickie closed her business due to her own health issues, I am guessing that check that YOU said to NOT WORRY about was written on her business account.
Athos has been paid for in full, I believe Vickie sent you $5,500 which she told me was Athos's full purchase price plus a down payment on Vinetta. Since Athos came to Vickie sick(I went with her to the airport and he didn't look right to me but I didn't want to burst her bubble either) and I helped her with him at OSU (I work for OSU) I believe you told her that you would reimburse her for him and apply part of the monies towards Vinetta's debt. You also told her that you could not afford to pay her back all in one lump sum and you would have to make payments back to her for the balance which she has not pursued either to my knowledge. I have all medical records for Athos and I will be glad to scan them and post them here for everyone to see if you would like. Vickie's husband thinks you knew that Athos was sick when you sent him or else your vet didn't do a good exam for the health certificate.....the heart murmur he has is very evident. And if it were possible Vickie would have sent him back to you but because of her own judgement and Athos being in ICU for 4 days over father's day he would have been cleared for travel and if he was cleared he would have died durring the trip. I fell in love with Athos since I was there with Vickie every step of the way so I accepted the responsibility for all his medical care and expenses.
