I have a friend who feels they have become a victim after a recent purchase from Kraftwerk.  They spent a lot of money on a dog that was supposed to be one of the best trained dogs in the business.  After having the dog looked at by some other experts, the dog is not even close to the description provided by Kraftwerk.  One thing I had witnessed myself while visiting is that the dog was supposedly house trained and then just went to the bathroom right on the dining room floor.  i can understand if the dog is new to an area, but this dog has been in the house for a few months.  There are many other red flags that have been raised.  She used to be able to make contact with Kraftwerk with no issues when she was going through the process of purchasing the dog.  Now when she tries to contact them, they just blow her off.  Is anyone else experiencing anything like this that I can speak to? Is an isolated incident.  Thanks

Search this forum for Kraftwork K9 or Wayne Curry and also ripoffreports.com etc. and unfortunately, you will find this kind of complaint is common and that when there is a complaint, the breeder/seller generally terminates contact. I believe there are a lot of complaints and at this point, there may be legal action underway by some, singly or as a group.

Your friend would have been better off to do a little more work towards "due diligence" before purchasing a dog. It is not difficult to find out how this breeder/kennel is regarded in the dog world.

Good luck.

Kraftwerk is known for it's problems with puppies and dogs.  They just sell over priced puppies, from what I had heard many had parvo or other problems.  And they stay in contact with you until something is wrong. I saw a lot of nice looking dogs on their site, but would have never considered buying one.

Funny story though, I had a dog here that I was rehoming for someone once. An American line German Shepherd. She NEVER used the bathroom in our house, or the house she came from. She was here a couple of months too. Never touched food that was on the counter in either house, or got into anything.  Well, within one day of her being in the home that I rehomed her to she pooped all over their kitchen floor and ate the birthday cake. When I heard this I about died laughing.

It does not appear that the OP is attempting to obtain a "resolution of personal disputes with members or companies." He/she asked for contact, off-forum via email or pm. Period. Further, he/she specifically stated that it was to determine whether this was an isolated occurrence or not. Hodie, as usual, is correct--a little Google would have gone a long way toward doing the very research the OP and friend seek to do after the fact. Keeping your toes out of the fire in the first place is easier, safer and more efficient than treating third degree burns after the fact. :-0

I think the moderator was just trying to avoid another bash festival since this Kennel has been discussed numerous times before and its kinda old news...

Also noted was the direction the OPster could into, to get the answers to their questions without hashing up the same old information on here....

The OP asked to be contacted if anybody had information or had a similar experience.  The OP gave contact informationto do so.

I apologize for any inconvience I may have caused.  I did not know we couldn't post an email address.  No harm was meant, just looking for direction.  If you could please open the discussion back, I would appreciate it.

P.S.  I edited the original post, I hope it is now in compliance.
