Des anyone know what this indicates?

Zuerkannt translates as awarded but I'm not entirely sure this helps me a great deal...

Thanks,

I believe it means "Awarded"

Many years ago the grade was either pass or fail.

Zuerkannt means it's not perfect but still within acceptable range. I would translate it as "accepted".

Pass or fail i.e. awarded - thats makes sense as it was on a 1960's pedigree.

Thanks,
