What do you suppose the date of this photo is? I don't know beans about war uniforms and such.

 Difficult to say for sure, but the infantry caps seem to be world War 1 era.

I'm so uninformed that i couldn't figure out if it was WW1 or WW2. Sigh. Thanks guys.

The weird thing is that my big old female looks just like the dog most in the foreground. Funny, eh? I guess she is a SERIOUS old-style GSD. Anyway I am amazed that some strains of the GSD have been that consistent over the years.

The only problem with that theory is Horand was NOT a military dog.... Just a pet.
