For all those going to the puppy jr show this weekend, good luck to you all!

I hope the judge wont just put all her friends, as this seems to be why so many have stopped showing!

well what do ya know.....A SHIT STIRRER ALREADY .GET A LIFE AND GO CRAWL BACK UNDER THE ROCK YU CAME OUT OF.Carole Spelman.

Well Noddi, he knew how to name himself appropriately.

Booger,

Seeing the support you have here in just three replies, I think it says it all.    We will all enjoy the show, a lot of work has been put in to it already by VOLUNTEERS - so if you are so interested, get off your backside and help instead of hiding behind a computer and even being afraid to give your name.   I have every faith in the judges doing a great job, and the exhibitors having a great day.    There is a saying    "there`s always one in every walk of life"     how does it feel to be that "one".    Mo.

i am only stating what i feel, which this board says i can, and what some people think but wont say

we all know the gsd world has been corrupt for a long time. are you telling me, you've never been to a show and moaned about the judge putting their mates up? as for my name, this board states i dont have to give it, but my name is janice.

and penny, how good of you to comment when the judge has a vested interest in your bloodlines...

i dont care about how many replies i get, if we're to change the breed for the better, we need judges to stop putting their friends up!

you know what goes on, and so do i.

There's alot of nice dogs out there, that never get a look in because of this problem.

you're entitled to your opinions but so am i

Booger - Janice  -

Get to the show and see if the judge has a vested interest in the puppy that I will be entering if I get her there, but to be honest my post stated JUDGES in the plural, not judge - so another assumption.

Yes Booger, Janice, you are right, not all decisions satisfy or please all people, and sometimes it can seem a bit jaundiced, but what good do you think an anonymous posting on a pedigree database can do?

which is more important at present

1.  We get SV style shows up and running and help each other to put them together and give support

2.  We gripe about an age old issue that all competitions in all walks of life get.

Not really hard decision is it?    Mo

Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes Janice.

The judge you referrred to does not know me from Tom Diddly, she has judged my dog in the past and rated him very highly in a strong class (& she did not know the handler [me]),

If I had a puppy or junior to enter I would have no hesitation in going under this judge as in my experience she puts up the best dog on the day.

Hope all that have entered have a wonderful day

well said mo.some people just cant help themselves.it really made my blood boil when i saw this thread.for once i decided to get off my backside and help out at this event.i didnt have to ,i could have just turned up to spectate but i wanted to put back something to the breed so decided to offer my services.janice ,yes we,ve all moaned about ALL JUDGES,not just other exhibitors who happen to take on judging appointments.we,re all disappointed when we dont get placed and who bears the brunt of our disappointment,YES YOU,VE GUESSED IT THE POOR OLD JUDGE.its human nature, pure and simple and sometimes human nature.if yu think the judge has put up their friends then dont enter under them again as i have decided to do at times.twice this year i,ve given judges the benefit of the doubt as i,ve entered my animal under them before and each time i,ve been at the back of the class,so wont be entering under them again.facey judging ,maybe IMO.not in the people who win.this is a puppy event mainly,so therefore a lot of the entrants wont be known to the judge and before yu start,NO I AM NOT A FRIEND OF HEATHERS.yes i know of her and i know she knows of me and my animal and yes i would enter under her.while i,m here i wish all the exhibitors good luck, have a brillant day out, enjoy yourselves and lets hope the weather stays fine.Carole Spelman.
