Skin - Page 1

Hi!

    I have a 10 month old GSD male and about a month ago he got a skin infection around his groin area. The vet gave me oral medications which he took and the infection cleared. Well now he once again has dark spots with raised bumps on his belly and inner back legs. I make sure he is dried off real good everytime he comes in from outside. I am not sure what could be causing the irritation, does anyone have any suggestions and/or remedies?? Also he does not lift his leg when he urinates causing him to pee on his front legs at times. When do male dogs begin to lift their leg to pee?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Have your vet do a culture, do more oral meds and medication shampoo. Lifting leg comes later, do not worry about your boy.
