GINA vom BONAUER WALD 5 months two days Old, Hip and Elbow joints - Page 1

This Morning i took 5 month old Gina to a top Vet in Holland to have a prelim done on her joints, here they are,All opinions respected on what you Guys think good or bad

Although I have not seen tooo many elbow xrays-  these to me look good, very clean;  the hips look excellent;  good luck;  by the way;  I also really thought she was cute.  Nan

I think they all look good but is it common practice there to prelim pups this young?

Has she had any trouble on her left side? Everything looks ok.

Yes, they do them over here at 5 to 6 months old, to see how the hips and elbows are at that age, The Vet says if they are good at this age, it does not mean they will be when the Pup is 12 or say 15 months old
But he said if the Hips and elbows are NOT good at 5 to 6 months old then they will not be any better at 12 or 15 months old that is why people have them checked out at this young Age, If they find they are not great they can find a good home for them as a pet, and it saves them time of working them then only to find the joints are not so great
The Vet said to me this morning a Guys just left here to go back to Germany with his 6 month old Puppy he drove 6 hours each way just to bring his Pup to this Vet in Holland, People come from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Sweden and Norway and Denmark just to get there dogs joints done by this Vet, He really is one of the best around, The first 6 months of this year he said he has done 1152 dogs joints, Seems the Guys does not sleep but he is through in his job and he gives his assessment of each Dogs joints as he does them and writes it all down to see if his results tally with the offical ones, He said how was Izzys joints i said they are anormal hips and elbows Yes, he said just as i have it wrote down here in my book

              It's a mind-bender for sure, everyone goes through that period of
anxiety, until the dog is ex-rayed. Gina is a very nicely bred dog, everything
looks good so far. And she is very nice looking, which does not hurt.

I'm no expert but they look good to me. She's growing up well :)
Not sure if this matters to you, my dog's related to Gina and his hips are good too. 

Btw, how did you get the X-ray shots online?
