I am getting interested in Working dog lines such as the Czhech & DDR lines.

I have also found the following website:

Eurosport K9

I would like to learn about the working dogs from theCzech & DDR lines more.

I did find a dog from the Eurosport website which i seemed to like:

Samer Z Kurimskeho

Has anyone actually met this dog? What is his temperament & working ability like. From the movies i have seen of him, i think he is a good worker.

I've never met the dog myself. Should do some more research on the different lines before you purchase.
This way you'll have a better idea what kind of dog you should expect from what lines.

I currently have 2 working line dogs & had a 100% pure DDR dog that recently pasted away.
All 3 are different to live with, to train, & as workers. All 3 are wonderful dogs in their own rights, but just different.
So it depends on what your looking for & what you want to do with your GSD. Also if you have children / other pets.

My DDR line dog - was very smart, easy to train, but had to have something to do or would get very very destructive fast as a puppy. But if you want a dog to work this won't be an issue for very long. Once she started working all that negative behavior disappeared. She was full of herself with no fear & always ready to take on the world. This could be a issue if you plan on visiting a lot of dog parks. She wasn' t very cuddle, just happy to work & hang out with you. More aloof with strangers yet sweet dog with children or the elderly. She had a amazing temperament & natural working ability. Big plus is DDR lines tend to be calmer around the house when not working & more balance drives. Independent thinker so watch training.
They tend to be large bone & stocky dogs.

My other working line female - mostly Czech lines. She too has a wonderful temperament, but very different.
She has super high drives, don't think she ever sleeps, very sweet & out going, cuddly with me.
She was one of the easiest dogs I ever trained & very willing to please. To me she is more geared for sport or SAR, than say police work. Even though she is high drive she is wonderful to live with as a pet too. She settles in the house, never chewed on anything, can be left alone in the house not crated without anything being destroyed. Doing SCH wit her makes the sport almost seem easy in all 3 phases.

My 3rd working line dog is our newest member of the family. She is still a puppy so little harder o describ temperament.
She is more like my DDR female so far in temperament. Much more serious, protective, tougher type of temperament.
Her drives aren't as extreme as the female 2nd female. Also large bone & more of a independant thinker.
