Dingo... you are not honest!  Even when  you are presented with posts explaining things, you argue for the "prosecution"!  So much so, that you felt the need to adopt another user name, "JoePublic"... to support yourself?

"Incitement to post"... could that be a new criminal offence? LOL

Some of what you say has merit, but you're not big on compromise... for someone, who just has pets and the interest of the breed at heart. (?)   You say you enjoy a good debate, but thats not what you do... you tell us all how it should be, how you see things and how misunderstood the old KC is.  Oh, I know you throw in little snippy comments about them, but......... really?  You have no apparent empathy with those who don't agree with you... kind of like what you accuse DP of come to think of it.

So, where are these banana backed cripples?

Come to the "Event" on the 25th April... then let's hear what you think.  At least it would be more productive than falling out because we don't agree.  Will you come?

I don't understand what you think is not honest? Yes, I tried a second persona (for a very definite reason) and look how that worked - I'm not cut out for the secret squirrel stuff - obviously. I don't have other persona's to support myself, heavens I wouldn't have the time, nor would I be able to remember who I was at any given time. If you note back to the JoePublic post, it wasn't in support of Dingodog at all, it was an entirely separate issue, when I got really peeved at Joe Public continually being treated as ignorant and stupid.

A debate is an exchange of views, mine and yours. You tell it how you think it should be (very directly in some cases) and I tell it how I think it should be. I have said all along that I think a mix of both is the answer. What I accuse DP of is name calling when someone doesn't agree with him. He never presented any debate, so I don't think that your comparison is apt. I have always refrained from name calling - please check my posts, even when others resorted to it. (Except for DP who I may have intimated I thought somewhat delusional)

So do you now subscribe to David's view that I am some sort of KC 'plant' ?  Absolutely not true.  I don't think at any time have I said the KC is misunderstood, but to me they are one potential way forward - does that count as compromise?

Not big on compromise - no, you're probably right, I am not generally well known for it, but then I could say the same of you. Where is the event again on 25th? It depends if it conflicts with an agility competition.

I have no wish to 'fall out' with anyone, to me that isn't what it is about.

25th April.  Markfield, Leicestershire.  Full details on the League's website.  I really hope you can make it, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Don't know if I can, we have a special agility training day booked down on the Sussex Coast. Don't know the times or logistics of travel. I think it is only an afternoon or a morning, but my OH will be taking the 'dog' car, I may or may not attend the training, depending on how distracting I may be considered to be.

Actually, I would have liked to attend this one, although a bit nearer (I'm in the South) would work better for me. I would like to be surprised.

Dingo..... I am led to believe you live in Kent, only a couple of hours to Markfield, please bring your GSD, perhaps I can "critique" them.

I will have a look

Videx - Who led you to believe I live in Kent?   Would I want to meet you and have you critique me or my dogs - don't think so. I can only compare that to going to lunch with Hannibal Lecter LOL

by Marge on 07 April 2010 - 17:04

Sally with no adult classes do you think it a good idea for Dingodog to attend  puppy / junior show? God forbid she will expect all babes to have completely firm hocks. marge.
