BREED SURVEY being done at WEST YORKS OPEN SPECTACULAR SHOW on SUNDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2010 - Surveyors are Joe Summerhill and John Robinson. Forms for Surveys available on the Breed Council Website. Hope this helps.
Sue B will keep you right on this as well if you need any info.

Could you confirm the date of the West Yorks show please? as that would be ideal for me. The only schedule I'm finding for it is giving the date as 28th march? Cheers

If anyone can give me a quick run down of what is done at a survey these days I would appreciate it, it's been a long time since I had a dog surveyed. Obviously there's a gun test, but at the last survey I attended, walking the dog through a crowd etc was just being introduced. Has this been expanded upon?

MUST BE AGED 18 MONTHS OR OVER

ELBOW SCORE IF DONE - UP TO 3 - LOWER THE SCORE THE BETTER OF COURSE
TATTOO OR MICROCHIP NUMBER
HAEMOPHILIA FOR MALES - NEGATIVE
PAPERWORK
KC REG CERTIFICATE
HIPS SCORE PAPERS
ELBOW SCORE PAPERS - STILL SAYS OPTIONAL
MICROCHIP OR TATTO CERTIFICATES
DNA CERTIFICATE IF YOU HAVE THIS
RECENT PHOTO FOR SCANNING OR ON DISC - JPEG
THE BREED COUNCIL WEBSITE PROVIDES ALL THE PAPERWORK TO DOWNLOAD OR REQUEST FROM SECRETARY OR FROM SHOW SECRETARY.

All that's the usual, it was more the walking through a crowd, temperament test, I wondered if it had been expanded into anything more than just the dog being stable around people and other dogs.

Hip score I thought.....total 20, with no more than 12 on one side???
