hi,
Looking for a good gsd bitch puppy from working parents. lines must be as problem free as possible as sick of dogs with h/d and e/d etc . Anybody out there know where such a litter exists in the uk? any info would be fantastic - there has got to be some reputable breeders out there who arn't full of bull.
cheers folks

Kaffirdog.   I don't think you have read Mick 7227s post correctly or you would not have answered him.   My understanding of Mick 7337s post is that he is wanting a puppy from hip/elbow scored parentage ?.  Kaffirdog when I contacted you and your partner regarding the purchase of a puppy a few months ago I was told that both of the parents of your puppies had elbow scores of  2 ,  I did querie this with yourselves ,  your reply told me that the elbow scores did not matter and that there would not be a problem with the puppies elbows, this I found to be a very silly and irresponsible statement to make.   Simon.

Hi Simon

None of my current breeding animals have been elbow scored so if you contacted me regarding pups, you would have been told that.  What health checks I do is clearly stated on my website so Mick7337 can have a look and decide for himself if he wants to take things further.

Have you contacted Ron White? His affix is Argonne and he has bred several generations of successful working GSD in the UK, I think he might have a litter around now but not sure, you can contact him via the GSDL working branch site, he is on the committee.

alternatively John Rumble (Jotunheim) sometimes has litters of GSD from elbow and hip scored parents, you can find him under Blackwardine Kennels if you google.

If you google both affixes you should be able to gain good information on working ability and health.

regards

Kaffirdog.    I am sorry but I will have to correct you re your last post .  The litter I enquired about was bred by your partner K.9Ulf who you have mentioned along with yourself in your above post, I'm sure he/you would remember your litter, it was only a few months ago,   THE SIRE WAS KOBOLD VON KARTHAGO IN NYRVANA , ELBOW SCORE OF  2 ,  THE DAM WAS NYRVANA NAUGHTY GIRL, ELBOW SCORE  OF  2.  Please correct me if I am wrong, I have got email confirmation if you wish me to send to you.
Simon.

Mick
Why dont you contact Lynn at Linern she elbow scores her dogs, there may be a litter due from one of her stud dogs Neck or Sergio

I agree with your suggestion Pam, Lin is an old mate of mine, from years ago (longer than we wish to remember) and the dogs that she has - particlarly I have my eye on - Necki - and will use, look good, and have the qualifications to back it up.  Mo - Mascani

I remember looking into this some time ago as I was interested in Margaret’s breeding for a future dog but not with elbows scores of 2 and or no elbows scores at all. Health and health testing is something we're not prepared to compromise on.  Are you not doing elbows now at all, Margaret?  Kobold and Nyrvana Naughty Girl were both elbow scored last year.

PS Necki is a stunning dog Penny, good luck with your future breeding.
