I have no hidden agenda here, I'm still fascinated by germanic showdogs but haven't been to a show for years. So, double handling, it seems some exhibitors are giving the Kennel club a stick to beat the Germanic side with, I have to admit I've been there and done it myself but watching from the ringside it seems in most cases to be a total waste of effort and alienates the other side of the breed, why should the KC turn a blind eye to it ?, do breeders only want the registrations for their puppy sales and the CC's to promote their kennel etc, or do they want to embrace the S.V way. Time to put up and split or give in and stagnate ?.

I would say put up and split but who knows which way this will turn out. To me the KC are a complete joke and just care about the money they can make from reg's. I think health issues should come first, never mind them worrying about double handling but this is the KC we are talking about here.

Abandon the KC's judging list, let the GSD partnership or whoever is calling the shots draw up their own list of qualified judges that are assesed yearly, all judges to be used in rotation, forget about CC's and adopt a grading system that recognises the best rather than the best on the day, wait 10 years for the breed to catch up with the rest of the world.
