My husband and I recently had to put down our beloved German Shepherd at age 12. She was absolutely the perfect dog for us. We would like to get another female puppy of similar breeding, but cannot locate her breeder - they may have retired.

Does anyone know how to locate Al & Connie McGraw, formerly of Princeton, TX (just north of Dallas)?  Or in the alternative, is anyone familiar with the following East German breeding?

Sire:  Cito Vom Kleinen Mohn
Dam:  Dallas Vom Spezialblut

If so, we would be so grateful for your assistance.  Please contact Cindi @ TheQuarterlyMag@aol.com

Thank you!

USA Carla Griffith
breeder of German Shepherd Dogs under the kennel name vom Spezialblut

The McGraws bred under the kennel name Alconhof.

Basically, the pedigree of Cito Dallas progeny is 3/4 German working lines and 1/4 DDR.  There are quite a few well known, fairly heavily used dogs and lines in this pedigree

So sorry to hear about your loss.  I hope you are able to find a suitable replacement knowing of course that you can never replace her.  But a puppy does help the healing.  My condolences.
