Was wondering if anyone had information on head-coat GSD's. Were looking for pictures or someone who owns or have owned. With the search limited to the head. Maybe an external link or internal pedigree link. Our 5 month old GSD has what appears to be and we have not seen any information. Sorry for offending anyone whom may be against the "standard" GSD guideline but both parents are standard.

midnightsday,

My mother tongue is not English, I sometimes use dictionary to understand some of the difficult words I read on this board, What is it you are exactly looking for?

my apologies, we believe our dam is a coat. Her coat is on her ears with tufts inside the ears and toes. We have no complaints and were seeking opinions. Standard is coat or normal and it appears they do not have a definition is for semi or part coats. We also posted on general topic. Are there any special considerations to care? We have looked for photos of similar coats and yet to have found. She is beyond our expections thus far. With superior temperament and intelligence as of 5 months of age.

I had a puppy with coat just like that last year I sold him as a stock coat but he turned out to have a normal coat.

thank you for understanding our question, did the pup end up with feather around ears? Our club said coated and it will develop  we just don't see it.

The dog in the picture(s) is a long stock coat......no question about it.
Best wishes!
