We are looking for Cartrophen, an injectable treatment for osteoarthritis for our 6 year old GSD, Kaiser. He has gone downhill after recently been diagnosed and we are trying to no avail to get this medication. Our vet will administer the shots if we can get the drug into the US. Currently only in the OK, Australia, and Canada. Please does anyone have a website or info, you mail e-mail me at either n12707@aol.com or KathiSc@aol.com. Please my Kaiser is only 6 and it is very difficult to see "my little tank" go down so quickly.

I hope you can find a source for the Cartrophen.
Here in Australia, it is readily available and we have used it on older, arthritic dogs with much success.
Our Vet. gives us the medication and we do the injection. Saves going back and forth to the Vet.
Why can't your Vet. get hold of some for you? Seems strange that it is available in other countries, but not USA.
