What are your thoughts on dominant alpha dogs? Would you consider one for your breeding program? Can they make it to top sport if having the correct drives? Can they be good family dogs? I'm very interested in knowing you experiences with this type of unique dog

What is so unique about a dominant dog?  What do you think the big mystique is?  Of course they can do top sport with a good handler.

One of my females is an alpha dog and she is a great family dog.

I don't think there are many, that's why they are sort of unique

What studs here in the us can you think of are more defense than prey and still be podium dogs?

I do not want a dog that is more defense than prey, period.  It is worthless to me.  Won't make a good sport dog or a good police dog.  I think I mentioned this already.  Someone, not saying YOU needs to get out and see more dogs and get more experience.  Please do this before you breed any dogs.

Mystique is reserved for the skeptics and people with a cluster B type personality issue slam... I was referring to alpha type dominant dogs, which I feel are rare

Here is an excellent dog, super grips, great natural aggression, high drive, hard but not handler aggressive.  However no one else can take his leash or give him a correction. Several real street bites and has hospitalized people with one bite.  After being kicked in the face, stood on a bad guy and waited for his bite command  Super tough, proven patrol and narcotics dog also a National level SchH dog.  Only thing is he is higher in prey than defense, clocked at 32 mph's chasing a toy.

Very old czech lines.  He is probably what you are looking for.  I hope you find a dog like him.
