Does anyone know of a reputable puppy broker that can help me out with getting my pup from Czech Republic to Michigan? A few of you have noted that I would be better off trying a broker to help the import and customs process but this is a new concept for me. Obviously I want things to go smooth. Can anyone give me some contact information for a few of these brokers??
Thanks!

I can do that for you.
If you are interested,
send me a PM with your phone number, the kennel the puppy will be from and exactly where the puppy will fly. I will contact the breeders in Czech and then the shipping company. I have some friends in Czech who can make this pretty painless.

Also you can feel secure to know somebody speaks the language and knows the traditions and the way it is done in Czech.
Or you can take the risk, do it yourself and then stress over things if something doesn't go as planned.
My job is to take care of everything, so the puppy owners show up at the airport and pick the puppy up. No hassle no mess and no worries.
But I am all for people getting it done themselves if they want to. I just then clean up the mess if they forget some details...and then it really COSTS some $$$$
Your question is valid

I didn't have problems when I got my pup so I never thought about potentials problems that could happen. I remember getting a call from PetAir so that I could pay for shipping. Once that happened, I received all the info via email from PetAir and printed it out. The day before I went to customs at the airport and all they did was look at my papers and ask me "is he a pet?" I said yes and they stamped my papers. Took all of 2 minutes to walk in and out. The next day I just showed up at cargo right before the plane landed, showed them the papers and took my dog when he was unloaded.
