A single (blurry) photo of a dog lying among rocks and dirt does not automatically mean said dog lives and sleeps in rocks and dirt...I've got photos of my dogs lying in mud, but they live in the house and sleep on my king-sized bed--after they've gotten cleaned up from their mud-puddle games. 

As for any commentary on the dog himself, with the quality and angles of the photos it's hard to get an accurate impression of his structure, although his coat color seems good.  He does look to be a happy and healthy dog who is confident and comfortable in his surroundings and with the person who's stacking him, and he is most likely a wonderful companion and family member to his owners--which, as far as the dog's opinion is concerned, is the most important factor to be considered.
