Hi GSDtravels,
Wonderful pictures and the places you are sharing with us.  Drake must be the happiest and luckiest companion dog on this planet.  Looking back one of your thread, I have yet to read your travel memoirs.  In the meantime, stay safe and best wishes.

I'm glad you've enjoyed my photos, we've had one hell of a time!  I have my journals scattered and must make them more cohesive before I publish them.  I thought it would be easy just to write at the end of the day and then go over them and string them together, but it's not quite as easy as it sounds.  My computer crashed on my way through New Mexico and everything had to be deleted and saved on disc, that really screwed things up.  So, at some point within the next year, I'll put them in order, edit, publish and provide you with the link.  They also put my pictures in folders that didn't make sense, I had them in dated order and now I have to go through them and put the pictures with the right dates and the right journals.  Oh, well, I'll get to it one of these days.

Since coming back to settle details, we can't stay off the road so we go camping every week.  We're going back to the Youghiogheny River this Monday, he can run free there so it's much more fun, neither of us like being tethered .  Next week, since it's a holiday and EVERYBODY will be at the lakes/rivers, we'll be going to a piece of property my parents own up in the mountains, old hunting camp, very secluded.  We'll pitch our tent and enjoy the peace and quiet.  It's still near the Allegheny River so water will be within hiking distance.  Life will be good once again!

It's nice to be thought of, thank you for the pictures.
I wish I had your canoe, I haven't actually been on the water since last year, my fourty year old outboard passed away suddenly last fourth of July.  We haven't put it to rest yet, I'm still pounding on it in hopes it will come back to life.
I think a nice canoe is in my future......:)
You take care, and I look forward to more pictures.

Moons.

Moons, we rented the canoe, $30 for the day :o)  That's the first time Drake's been in one and we didn't tip it!  I thought for sure he'd be too antsy so I was expecting a bath.  They're pretty easy to rent around here plenty of rivers and lakes, they'll even drive you up river as far as you want and you come back downstream, makes paddling a bit easier!
