What line is this being bred? - Page 1

I looked at a Breeder's website called Stonehedge Germa shepherds. I looked at their dogs, and couldnt figure out what lines the dogs were. They resembled either the Aerican line, o the german line. If they are meant to be the German line, they are too small, and extreme, also the breeders are therefore a disgrace. If they are meant to be the American line, there colour is more German like than it should be, and the back is not to the AKC standard.

If they were croses they would be more extreme.

You ever heard the saying 'A little knowledge is a dangerous thing'?

I went over this breeder's website, they appear to be in the Philippines, and I think for being in such a small country with what must surely be a limited gene pool, plenty of these West German dogs are quite nice.  Unfortunately without working title, but this has not taken hold in every country in the world yet. Now all of their dogs are to my taste, but the fourth dog posted here and the last bitch are pretty nice, actually, and not extreme at all. The first dog is stacked poorly. Puppies of course are still developing and difficult to critique. I do see that this breeder exhibits his dogs at SV style shows in their country, so they are active in the breed.

What exactly is the problem here, some kind of personal vendetta? Hamza, are you an SV judge yourself, since you insinuate to know more than the judges who rated this breeder's dogs?

These dogs are West German showlines, they are well within the breed standard for size and structure.  I think they are very nice looking dogs.

Why are you badmouthing these dogs and their breeder?

I think the dogs on that web-site resemble the dog in your avitar....
They look like nice dogs.

I never said that they were extreme. I just dont like them however.
