This morning Benedict ( 4.5 months) began making a wheezing/snorting. coughing sound, ( almost like a child with croup, sound after drinking water, He sis the same thing a little later while we were out for a walk. I just let him take a dring form the drinking fountain at work and he did it   again for a few seconds..  I can't tell if the problem is in hois nose or  throat. Other that that he is his normal  playful self. He has had all recommended puppy shots including Bordatella which was put up his nose on Friday. Any ideas what could be the cause?  Could he have a fox tail in his nose? He was playing in his pool yesterday and  like to put his head under water to pick up things at the bopttom of the pool, Could he have breathed in water?

Two Moons

Shortly after receiving a Bordatella, Influenza vaccine my pup had this wheezing for a few days , it went away.
Give it a couple of days and if it gets worst or doesn't go away ask your vet.

I am in agreement with two moons, but if the pups start with a fever, starts to cough non-stop, becomes lathargic, seek vet asap.
Always,
Cee

He is much better Cee. Thanks for asking! I think it was just a reaction to having the Bordatella medicatiion shot up his nose
