DNA Analysis Reading help Appreciated - Page 1

Is anyone familiar with DNA Analysis ?  and can help me out.

 What exactly is the question? I know that sometimes DNA analysis is utterly pointless, like when my friend sent in DNA from her AKC champion Staffordshire Terrier to see what breed they'd say he was, and he came back Border Collie. But then, it does help one make sure that the parents of the dog are who you say they are, assuming that both parents have been DNA recorded.

 VomMarischal is right on!. There is a scam out there of DNAing mixed breed dogs to see what breed they are.  One of my clients has an 8 month old pup they had "tested" and it came back, Chow Chow, German Shepherd and Border collie. The dog doesn't look ANYTHING like any of the listed breeds. She is a deep rich red and looks like a very tiny Golden Retriever lol
