Many congratulations to all the committee on a very enjoyable show, you even managed to give us good weather not a easy task for a Two Day show in Wales.

Congratulations to all winners, and the not so lucky ones.

We had a fantastic weekend marred only by Keith Williamson being rushed to Hospital on Saturday night, Keith was released Sunday night, and we wish him all the very best for a continued recovery.
Best wishes also go to Zuberg Lyric for a speedy recovery following a torsion on Friday night.

Well said Joyce - a very enjoyable weekend.  Glad to hear Keith is out of hospital - our best wishes for a speedy recovery from him.

Was glad to hear Lyric is recovering well - eventful isn't the word for it!

A super Two Day Show, congratulations to ALL the winners and exhibitors and spectators and the committee, for making this such a wonderful GSD show. We took 5 dogs, came home with 7 fabulous trophies. The Trophy for us winning the "Best Breeder - Kennel Group" has to be one of the BEST Trophy's we have seen, absolutely beautiful. David & Rhoda VIDEX GSD.

David bravo. I knew you were amazing. By the way out of curiosity which dogs did you take, and what trophies did they bring home?

Also can someone tell me the results for the 2 day show. I was going to go there, but due to some problems i didnt. So could someone either put the results on here, or email or PM me, with the results.

On bealf of the Officers & Committee of the GSD Club of Wales, Hosts of the 25th Two Day 'National'

Our thanks to everyone who exhibited and supported the show.  Thank you also to those who have arrived home and taken the time and trouble to email personally (and there have been a great many of you).

Thankfully the weather was kind to us, a first for a Welsh Two Day.

Our apologies for the condition of the ground which in places was basically just soil.  The heavy rain of recent weeks, especially during the Royal Welsh Show three weeks ago had basically trashed the ring.

Apologies also to all those in Post Grad Dog and Bitch who had to deal with the presence of the Field Officer.  Although frustrating at the time your co-operation was appreciated and resulted in a good report.

This may not be the thread to insert the next paragraph but it is relevant....

During a conversation with the Field Officer on the subject of Outside Attraction, I suggested a scheme whereby we have NO attraction at All Breed shows yet did he feel the KC would allow a 12 month trial period at Breed shows whereby static attraction was allowed and those on the outside could wear a corresponding number to the dog they were attracting.  In that way we were adhering to their health & safety issues by not running around, and would refrain from running around because our numbers would immediately identify us.
Its a floating idea, perhaps a new thread can be started to get everyone elses feedback - the Field Officer seemed to think it was a great idea that was workable and in his opinion would be considered as an action of co-operation.  He recommended that we sign a petition before presenting it to the KC to show the weight of support for such a sheme. (I think there is a website somewhere that you can set up a petition that everyone can access & sign).

Continuing with the thanks for the Two Day 'National'

A big mention to Michael Ruston (Rustanville GSDs) and Midland Greyhound Trophies for the fantastic trophies they selected for the show.  We put complete faith in Michael so if anyone deserves the praise for the trophies its Michael who warrants it.

Thanks also to Dennis Vessey for filming the show.

To Lin Paterson FARDOGART FOTO and Jos Johnston for their photography skills, we look forward to seeing the results in Lin's forthcoming British Sieger & 'National' Book

To Brian Wootton for his translating skills.

To Lawrence Boggis, Jean Hiscox, Bobbie Crowley & Barbara Baker for stewarding over the two days, not the easiest job in the word but was well done by all.

Finally the Judges asked that we pass on their thanks to the exhibitors for their entries and the sporting manner in which they accepted the results.  They both enjoyed the weekend and complimented the UK on the standard of the exhibits.

Well done to everyone.

Hi Sharon,
We had a wonderful day on Saturday, even though we did not place well (not everyone can win) could not come Sunday due to Brenda studying for NVQ exam.
Ref your suggestion Regarding double handling very good idea and very workable, it would certainly but a stop to people running around the outside of the ring and jumping over barriers.
