I have 2 - 15 week old GSD puppies from serious working lines....
Here's my problem:
Both are DEAD SERIOUS when working...I leave each & every training session bleeding & I don't mean with just a stratch. They bite for real! I had to start teaching "out" at 6 weeks because you couldn't get them to let go....they are like pitbulls. They aren't what I would call handler aggressive but how do I curb or control them without killing drive? Both are the best I have owned and have a sh*t load of potential for some serious sport work or real protection. I want to continue to nuture them but I look like I am seriously abused & I am getting some strange looks & the hospital staff are starting to call me by name. LOL!

rules of the game the dog does not get away and there should be NO play if he /she bites anything other than the tug/toy etc. The game should immediately stop and the dog made to realize that there is time out.

If the prey goes dead and the cheeks are pulled you can relase the bite.

cheers

Congratulations on having pups with high drive!  You've got pups that working-line folks dream of.  My hands have collected scars from the tooth holes over the years and I won't complain.  With puppies that young they are not biting you out of dominance or dangerous aggression.  Perhaps they are just faster on the draw than you.  ;)  Keep working with them and help them develop targeting skills.

BTW if you find yourself totally overwhelmed with the little prey monster alligators and you want to get rid of those trouble makers for cheap you give me a call.  :D

Thank your lucky stars you aren't raising a MALINOIS litter.  LOL

Hell I ain't complaining (too much)...I just want to keep nurturing their awesome potential without killing them, myself or others....I've waited over 2 years for pups like this, let alone to have bred a litter like this. The whole litter is great....if I could I would keep them all but I can't.

I have been following this little for awhile! :D

I love the looks of Beau, wish I could pass myself off as a pet home.
