This is Eartha Kitt, she is 6 months old.
I was checking her mouth last week cause the lady that has her sister told me that her pup still
had her baby fangs in front along with the adult ones coming in.
Eartha had her adult front fangs all the way in, and I tried to pull out her baby teeth and they were in
there solid.
The lady said she was thinking of having her pups baby teeth pulled, and I told her I have never had to have baby teeth pulled that they always fall out on their own.
She had me thinking thought, that if they are not even loose how are they going to fall out....
So, I googled about baby teeth, and it said to wait at least till your pup is 7 months old, and I thought, that's fair enough, the baby teeth weren't in the way or rotten, so I waited, and what do ya know, they're gone.
I've had plenty of pups but have never really noticed at what age certain teeth fall out, just another question answered, adult teeth should be all in around 6 to 7 months.

Nice pearly whites. Love that name, BTW!

Thank you GSD, it was Ella Fitzgerald!
I just got an e-mail back from the lady that has Eartha's sister, and all her baby teeth have gone bye bye!
The lady said her bite looks even better too.

I have a pup who is 6.5 months and had one tooth pulled. He had lost all but one upper canine. The other one came in, so he had two. With the puppy one still there, the new one could not come in as far as it needed (not as far as the one on the other side). It was pushing everything off. I was all for waiting and letting it die and come out, but everyone else said to have it pulled. He had his hips and elbows checked at 6 months so they pulled the canine for free. Now his bite looks like the pics. I guess I'll never know if it was necessary!

That's good he had it done while checking hips & elbows.
