Very nice bitch and glad to see this conversation got back on track:) If I owned her and I lived near NC, I'd go to Valcko. I love that dog!

SG Endy vom Oberhausener-Kreuz SchH3, IPO3, KKL1 for life. Produced nice puppies with super high drives, full bites, but you can live with them. He was in Germany when I bred to him, but he's in the USA now. Zidane v.h. Sevens,SchH3, KKL, WUSV, -two litters, great high drive puppies, full genetic bites and socially interested in people from very early age. So far, we can live with the 5 month female that we kept out of Fina, others are reporting high drives in the last litter, but pups are too young yet to say how easy or not easy they will be to live with. Merlin v. Conneforde, SchH3, WUSV, etc, gorgeous, super top competitor...I can't wait to send a girl to that one and have some puppies by him on the ground. I want to send a girl to Zeppo van't Leefdaalhof,SchH3 owned by von Schnieder, Paul and Cindy Schnieder. That whole Z litter by van't Leefdaalhof were good producers and good competitors, by what I've heard. (I think my Zulma is the only one who did not get titled out of that entire Z litter, sadly. She's too old now. I wish she was younger so I could get her title. She'd be great.). Ah, window shopping...daydreaming...isn't it fun? I just don't have but a few girls, I'm a small kennel.

Only a handful in the states and often times I find myself baffled on if there are any more out there that have the desired traits I like to see for stud selection. Interesting post indeed.. I have used had success with the following studs: EICK VON DER BERGER HOCHBURG - Owned by Mike Diehl; excellent production and probably one of the most consistent producers here in the states. If folks could just look over the fact that while he may not have been a podium dog, his production of nice, drivey working dogs is very high. Seen several litters from him and 2 recent breedings to him. I consistently saw intense drive, good aggression from Eick breedings. ZIDANE VOM HAUS SEVENS - The female was nice. The entire litter from this breeding was very nice. Unfortunately the owners have less than stellar reputability but still seen good results from nice strong females bred to him. I would use him more with a female with extreme drives and probably more serious female. Seems to bring mostly power in protection. Considering using the following studs: VALCKO VON DER DAELENBERGHUTTE - Owned by Dennis Johnson (Johnsonhaus). Belschik lines are consistent for drives (perhaps hectic sometimes). Would use him with a bitch that brought size since I see smaller dogs from the lines SID VON DER FASANERIE - Interesting dog owned by Larry Filo. Produced quite a few serious dog mostly that were more serious in worth ethic. I like that trait and will consider him for a breeding. Few others I am thinking about but waiting to see more of the production first before I make a "boo boo" of even mentioning them. LOL

Oh ARRAS LEEFDAALHOF too since I owned him at one point. Crazy drives and saw pups from only one litter from him but he brings a lot himself. So hopefully he will pass most of his good traits down. LOL

I had some Arras puppies. Big, loving, intelligent, some really good drives with good grips and some medium drives. Arras put pretty on my puppies out of my plain jane short legged female who has a good pedigree being by Urzo van't Quentawald and out of a Belschik daughter. Unfortunately, I did not have more than three or four experienced working dog people buy pups from that litter of nine mostly black with tan puppies. I don't know how serious the working dog people are about their training...I believe the woman who intends to do SAR with Babette will attain her goal.
