I support my organization with my time and money so yes my organization is important to me. I have nothing against the membership if the WDA but of the organization it,s self. There the first to run and cry foul if they think there slighted and when when they come up short they then want the rules changed again. If they grew there own organization and if the GSDCA thought they were such a worthy partner why are they not supporting it more with pressure for positive change there?

I guess you did completely read my post.....

"And the 4 that made the team, none are professionals. All 4 have full time jobs outside of training."

There are 6 total on "THE TEAM", I don't know what the WDA guys do for a living...But 4 out of 4 for USCA have full time jobs outside of dog training....To me that is not a professional..... All of the top people in any sport make some side money (because they are at the top of their sport) doing seminars or whatever, so if that is your criteria for being a professional, then yes, the team will always be made up of professionals, because when they are good enough to make the team, people want to learn from them..... To me "professionals" are full time dog trainers.....

Bob,

I thought you were talking about something new, not the same old GSDCA/WDA relationship nonsense. As far as the SV is concerned GSDCA and WDA members are both WUSV members and UScA has to recognize all the scorebooks and judges. If or how the GSDCA WDA relationship changes in the future doesn't really concern me There will be a combined USA team going to the WUSV World Championship for a long time

Rik,

You're confused about something based on your post. What are you talking about?

Its too bad WDA is going back down the old path. It did so well for awhile when Danny was President. The GSDCA as a body never really liked the WDA, seemingly bent on destroying it for years, and now again. I would continue to support their events, if there were any in my area, but there aren't. In fact, there aren't enough events PERIOD in this country anymore.

Danny was a great prez for a while, but about midway into his service he got of his meds.....shtf after that.

If someone has a dog that qualified for this event and truly can't afford the hotel room please send me a PM. Irregardless of which group you are from I will find you a room and pay for it.  Totally honor system and if 10 people message me I can't do all 10 but I can do one possibly two

Troop, is that a commitment for next year? The Qualification trial was in June and the Team has been determined for this year.
