You stated that you are going to bring in a trainer for video and to "EVALUATE HER" on a few things that you couldn't do yourself. I am curious as to how you come to the conclusion that she is a "BREED WORTHY" bitch if you have not done this evaluation yet... if she truly is breedworthy & her hips & elbows are ofa I would say she is worth $3,000 +. Hi Jen,
In my personal experience....selling price depends on each particular dog.
IMO...good, sound, hip & elbow certified, unproven but breed worthy females...can be bought in the "fair" price range of $2500-$3500..
Personally......I would have a hard time paying anything higher...for any bloodline.
I am speaking of "green dogs" with no actual titles.....but would have the temperament and capabilities of performing whatever venues the buyer chooses.

What characteristics does the green dog have that are different from her mother, that might be in question?

Looking at it just from a business side, if you are selling a really nice female, you can add a thousand to whatever you thought the price should be, as shipping from EU is very expensive. The euro is almost always around 1 = 1.30 1.50 That along is a pain in the ass. Two times in the last 2 years I have paid the money, and had the euro go up, and had to hear the complaints.

Yes, yes I did it on purpose, after extensive e-mails stating that the euro to dollar fluctuation will not be taken into account. Yes, I thought it would be funny to short you 111.38. Good grief. One of the people I dealt with decided to cash the check a week later. Very nearly made me consider never dealing with EU again.

Just that alone would make it worth the extra money if I found a bitch I liked here in the states. Cannot even tell me you misunderstood my e-mail. LOL

Kurt, I don't think you read my posts thoroughly/carefully. You've misunderstood.

James- stupid things...lighter eyes, etc. I just don't need her since her mother is just barely 4yrs old now and has everything I want.

Jeff, lol. I hear ya. I paid 1.57 per euro when I got Capri. OUCH.

 guess I am expensive LOL

I just learned that a female almost 2 years old with na foundation was sold for 1800 bucks out of NICE female and WUSV dog.. NICE female, breeding stock and higher level competition dog, maybe SG rating in the future, with clear hips and elbows (rating done).

I guess they are out ther.

One doesn't count at all. One is none. If you found 10 or 20 maybe, but 1 ? No, sorry. : )

Yeah, I agree with Jeff. Mostly because it makes me feel better, LOL. $1800 is crazy cheap, even if only an SG dog. There are all sorts of reasons (personal circumstances sometimes) that affect pricing that in no way should affect the "going rate." That's my story and I'm sticking to it, LOL.
