Whoever said there are many breeders that fit the description?  There definitely isn't.  Of course, you infuse new blood into your lines also, while it's often the damside that carries the bloodline.  I know how much you like to talk about me, but what I'm doing in my breeding has nothing to do with the inarguable fact that Eurosport is NOT a breeder of bloodlines.

I was just trying to be polite there daryll , and im not arguing your statement about eurosport either , just asking howmany are building a bloodline  , and that number is dissapointngly low in the GSD world

I would like to, but I have a loooong way to go.  Especially with the numerous washouts I've attained, and the very slow rate of breeding I do.  I myself fit the "ametuer" category, in that I don't make a living in breeding.  I invest a lot more than I ever hope to recoup, but that's OK with me.

I agree with Karen.  No one else seems to care whether or not the dog is attached to or even loves his master?

Obviously, that was not the point of the thread...

As humans, we move on with our own lives, detatch ourselves and find new loves to hold onto, cherish the ones we have while they last.  Are dogs really that different, that they don't welcome love or adoration by any other hand?  Don't be so naive to think that you're so unique, your dog wouldn't be happy anywhere else!  You think Vickie's new dogs won't in time grow fond of her?  Ha ha, better than I could!

Its a silly question. Europeans sell dogs for $$$$$$$ plain and simple. Eurosport has good dogs, the best of all he Chez dog dealers , here or there by far. In all truth its better for the dog to be sold to a family where he can live out his days rather than in a big commercial operation.
Hans you sell dogs fro one reason $, its how you make it. Same with Eurosport. It's all about the profit's from selling dogs here to us. The prices from one Chez, German, etc to the other is so much less than to us its embarrassing.
But why hide it, its all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

by Sam Spade on 28 July 2010 - 02:07

If it was ALL ABOUT THE $, wouldn't they have sold the dog years ago, like other CZ importers? Obviosly it is more than $ when you are showing dogs at the WUSV. Sorry, but don't compare the two!
