To Answere Pencil I have looked back on all the posts and I think I used the Word PRAT once and that was in relation to a chap that was running round the ring and knocked me over. Now if you had been knocked over what word would you use ?. I think a slightly more colourfull one.
To Susie B you must have had an upbringing that allowed you to insult anyone anywhere you pleased. Not an admiral quality I must say. manners maketh the Man or woman in your case. Is there anyone that needs a judge. I don't charge in fact over the last 20 yrs or so I have donated £100 to the clubs fund because I know jut how much it costs to stage a show. I have judge most of the working breeds and I have judged most of the hound group as well. I have passed the semina's for Whippet and saluki as well. So anyone need a judge.
Peace and may your God go with you

Mike, Nobody is going to ask you to judge... not even for a £100:00. You'll have to tout elsewhere me thinks!
Peace, love and lentils!

No Mika, I was brought up by proud Yorkshire parents who taught me to be truthful and honest and that my dear is what maketh the man, unfortunately the truth hurts sometimes but thats no excuse to confuse truth with offence. Though considering how you started this thread any accusation of offence coming from you is a bit rich to say the least, talk of kettle calling pan comes to mind, so as the saying goes if you cant take the heat then.. I'm sure you know the rest. lol

Mikadene... Question, While doing some internet browsing i came across a site....dogsearchinfo.com and saw mention of your kennel ans website. The header said.... Mikadene GSD, Home of Mikadene Highlander and many champ show winner, breeder information, S.V. REPORT, S.V. HERDING K,C standard and photographs. Now since your website is down and unavailable to view i was hoping you could clarify what you mean by the highlighted items above. Just curious, thank you. Should this thread not be on the GENERAL TOPIC SECTION? I thought this side was for GERMAN SHEPHERD TOPICS and the other side of the board was for EVERY BREED, surely that would include the BRITISH ALSATION?

"excuse me,but isnt a spine a flexible instument in the body, having the facility to bend both forwards and backwards.?????just coz its supposed to be straight and i have my doubts that it is even in humans.if the spine was ridgid we wouldnt be able to move now would we."
Good point noddi. There is a natural S bend in the spine, even in dogs with a straight topline. It's the spinous processes on the thoracic vertebrae that compensate for the dip that would be in the region of the withers. The thoracic section, with rib attachement, has little flexibility... the greater flexibility is in the lumbar region where the junction between the two veterbral types can form into a dip or apex.
