That would be Kroyer with a K, not a C.  If you're going to extol the virtues of someone you should probably know who they are.  You want guys with experience in Canada?  Contact Paul Cipparone or Bob Billyard.  Do you want to win or just be a bottom feeder and seminar junkie?

I believe Jan Kokx is with Debbie Zappia doing seminars. He and Debbie together are excellent.

Dude,
I honestly don't know what angle you are coming from at all.  Seminars can be for rank novices (first time dog owners)  and for people with experience.  I honestly don't understand your point.  not trying to be an ass just have no idea what you are talking about.  Why would a Shih Tzu owner want to attend a seminar with the top Schutzhund trainer?  Gearing toward only Schutzhund or ring would slit my own throat business wise.  AND may of the top Schutzhund trainers dont do seminars , many are poor public speakers.  But I think there have been some excellent suggestions here for the sporting end.  But more and more AKC trialers are attending Sport seminars to improve obedience scores.  I dont see it as being seminar junkies.  I learn something new at every one i have attended be it sport, nutrition, breeding etc.

Kim , I did forget about Vince my apology for that.  That said BC would still not be my first choice of public speakers in this feild :)

To everyone else thank you so much for your imput .  I will check with the individuals mentioned above.

Being as you didn't make your post on the Shih Tzu forum, and you DID make your post on the German Shepherd Dog forum, and the "sport" of Schutzhund is the evaluatory tool for the German Shepherd, and the majority of the names mentioned are SchH trainers, maybe now you'll get my point.  And, if you look into the background of the 2 names I mentioned you will not only find that the gentlemen are Canadian but they are also not just SchH guys or French Ring guys or Mondio guys.  Had you mentioned that you want to play AKC obedience and agility (to me not representative of working dogs or dog training for that matter) I never would have responded but since you posted on THE GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG MESSAGE BOARD, I "assumed" you weren't talking about Shih Tzus.  My apologies.

Dude,
this might be the first time you have heard about this so I will break it to you gently GSD ALSO do AKC events, herding, agility.  Breeders appreicate seminars on nutrition, puppy evaluation, medical things.  I have been given some wonderful names who regularly do working clinics and seminars.  I will be following up on those suggestions.  I must be REALLY dim as I just don't get your point at all.  Dog trainers should be able to continue training and learning new methods until the day they no longer train.

As I do, in fact I just attended what I believe to be the best working dog seminar I ever witnessed.  However it was for working dogs, not for play dog training.  If you wanted play dog training maybe you should have been more specific.  Simply a misunderstanding again, my apologies.

Just like Bob I'd like to spend some time picking Helmut Raiser's brain on subject from drives to RSV2000.
And just in case I ever get real lucky and have one of those special dogs how about Ronny van den Berghe.
For Canadian Ring Sport people there is Fédérick Labrousse in Montreal. All you would need is an Frech/English interpreter.
