So how is Rocky today? Anymore pics??? He is just sooo adorable!!

I agree, he doesn't look like a dwarf IMO. Dwarfs usually show an ear set somewhat like a bat eared fox and a very foxy shape to the face.
He's an absolute darling. I would have guessed he's around 6 weeks. Good luck with him, be nice to see his progress over the next few months.

Rocky is getting more and more active as each day goes. He's just a little ball of cute puppy fire. We've had him for a week so far, he's gained around a lb and so far only a couple accidents in the kitchen. He's a joy to have around.
I'd post more pictures, but my first attempt wasnt so sucessfull. Anyone want to let me in on the secret of posting pictures in a thread?

He is small if he is 8 wks, but hard to guess an age. He looks younger in the sleeping pics than he does in the alert sitting picture.
Just a note which is why I am posting, I would not take a puppy into a Petsmart or Petco or any such store until they are fully vaccinated. Remember these places do adoptions for shelters and parvo is a very big concern.
Take him to places for socialization where there are not a lot of unknown dogs passing through like friend's houses or food store parking lots. Avoid dog parks.
Lot's of luck with him!

See the first box with the sun beside the red circle? Click on it, click upload than browse, find the pic off of your computer that you wish, and click "send to server" If it is too large you may have to resize it.

Success! Exactly one week later and we are up 1.5 lbs.
I use a very scientific method as well. I weigh myself, and then hold him and step on the scale. Hah. My husband laughs.

That is the method I used too. Great weight gain, and still as cute as heck. :)

I've seen a few pups in my day and I would say he appears to be about 7 weeks old, no older, in that last pic in the dog bed. Roundworms are common; if he had them bad enough, they would account for stunted growth, temporarily. I cannot imagine anyone vaccinating a tiny, sick puppy, but it just goes to show that vets are more interested in money than health.
There is NO reason to vaccinate a puppy under the age of 8 weeks (if you feel you must anyway), so you can't fault the breeder for that. Anyone who thinks you're doing any good before that age is living in the dark ages. Check out Dr. Jean Dodds' protocol.
He looks just fine. Different lines look different at the same age.
