That's for "real".  If someone ever came to my door and attacked me with a buggy whip I'd probably just punch him in the mouth.

I cant comprehend why anyone would think that the 2nd video is any better than the first.  Just bad training.  I suppose this is what Schutzhund trainers think that PSA training looks like.  Although that would not be true.

when a dog wants a bite they surely show it. this dog will bite the sleeve and probably make a good sport dog. pp or ps ,no........

I don't think the dog would make a top sport dog or even a fun sport dog, but I also think a dog like that brought around decently could be fine. The dog engaged and then engaged the second time stronger than the first....with a fear biter this would not be the case plus you would see much more frontal and insecure bite. Dog has some nerviness, but he also has potentials to be trained to decent level.

Does anyone who's commented on this video have a video they could post of what they think is good or better PPD training (not SchH or sport)?

Just some comparable examples to show or demonstrate better training techniques and or a better dog....?

Reading descriptions filled with "trainer jargon" leaves to much room for interpretation showing a video gives more clarity.

Thanks

I agree w/Gustav. I hate how often "fearbiter" is thrown around. Most people have never seen a true fearbiter. I have only seen one.

The fear bitier I knew of (Am lines died many years ago) would be calmly laying under the table, you walk by the table and get fangs in your rear without warning.

dAWgESOME,

I'll make an honest effort to take a video of the same scenario/practical as the one in the video. Hopefully others can/will do the same. I don't have a video camera at the time and I'm usually the person taking all the pictures. I'm looking for a "kodak" camera that can take pics and videoes and a ? USB plug pops out of it so you can plug it in the computer and download the video like that!

Give me @ a week and I'lll see if I can put something together? I'll either PM or just get back on the thread.
