Something is being left out here. If its your dog and is chipped or tattoed and you have papers then why haven't you called the police to go get your stolen property. Or are you really in the wrong here? Maybe you can shed some light about the WHOLE story. Thanks

Ok Folks time to resolve this and this is the way.
First some obvious facts but need to be stated - there is no trust left between the parties and that spills over to any intervenors from the gsd world
Second puppy breath is fragile thing with a short shelf life and young puppies do best when placed early in a home
Third old ladies need to be safe and secure.
So this is how we accomplish this.
a. Find an escrow agent - use the web, use the yellow pages, call up the bar association ask for a retired judge, use an arbitration group, use a bank president, use a clergyman - for that matter use a clown as long as he/she is trustworthy, preferably bonded, and can follow directions and has nothing to do with the gsd community tho a dog person might be ok.
b. Shelley will register the litter ( can be done online these days) and send the individual registrations to the attorney she used in PA with specific directions for the escrow agent. He delivers the same to the escrow agent.
c. My suggestion is money in - registration out. Money to be held in escrow.
d. The minute the registrations are deposited with the escrow agent, Molly is to release Gabi to a person of Shelley's choosing because at that point she has no value as a hostage and is merely racking up room and board ( that no judge would ever award you if you hold her beyond this point)
e. Just my suggestion - if the parties wanted they could agree that each gets to keep one puppy for themselves if they can not mutually agree to this or agree to a method of selection ( ex. choose sex put #slips iding collar color in hat and have escrow agent pull out a # and that pup immediately handed over) then all pups must be sold.
So at this point old mama dog is safe and pups are safe and in their new homes.
Escrow agent it holding all the money. My suggestion is that the original instructions by both parties be that the money be held until one of three things happens
1. a mutually signed notarized agreement from both parties ( or their legal representatives) directing the distribution or
2. A mediator's ruling signed off on by both parties directing distribution ( low/no cost mediation services usually available) or 3. A signed judgement/court order directing distribution
Thus once the DOGS are safe the two of you can go after each other in whatever forum or mud bath that you want. If you use the legal system you most likely will be in small claims that can be done without attys. You can cross complaint each other for everything and have your day in court. Not my recommendation but that I will hold until pups and mom are safe and in their homes and then if you want to hear it I will be happy to share.
PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER THIS FOR THE SAKE OF THE DOGS. MOLLY THE MONEY WILL BE SAFE AND YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE YOUR CLAIM. SHELLEY YOU GET GABI & POSSIBLY A PUP IF MOLLY ALSO WANTS ONE AND YOU ALSO GET A CHANCE TO BE HEARD ON YOUR CLAIMS.

1. Get a job.
2. Stop drinking.
3. Repay debts.
This is such B.S. If Strohl is so fearful for the safety of the dogs, then she should do anything in her power to insure their safety. At this point, Strohl is just as guilty for endangering the dogs, if they even are in fact in any danger. And the older they get, the harder it will be to place them in working or non-working homes. But yet Strohl refuses to even take steps toward repaying her debt... Why? Why is she in this position to begin with? Because someone was stupid enough and kind enough to help her when she needed it. And then she does not want to repay her debt after she blows town. Keep it real people.

The drama never ceases here on the PDB.
Note to self...never, ever, refer to or buy from Eichenluft German Shepherds

Gee I can't imagine why people would be turned off to the breed.
I'll be back in a few months, I'm sure the same drama's will still be here.
