Red Sable

I dont know how ANY of us could know how much attention her dog gets.  Some just make assumptions based on the fact that she built it a LARGE fenced in area.

Many have dogs that are kept in much SMALLER kennels and they get even less attention, especially when they are a breeders dog - one of many.

So, don't just pick on Maggie.

I agree with RS.....   IMO, I large fenced in area outside and a warm create indoors at night is pretty good living...

sure, there are others who also keep dogs as trophies. But none like her by her own words. And by some words just recently, some talked about how bad it is for a dog to stay in rescues.Dogs that get little or no human interaction but lives in fence and crates, without much human interaction is ok? Not my idea of good situation for anything except maybe fish.

That is merely existing and not good living for a 2 year old GSD.  For a 12 year old GSD, maybe.  Not a young dog that needs exercise and attention.  Dogs need interaction and exercise.  Lack of socialization, no training or exercise are the reason so many dogs wind up in the shelter, with "behavioral problems."

Not saying maggs would take her dog to the shelter, but a young GSD (or any dog) needs an attentive owner, lots of exercise and interaction.

maggie,
My dogs are exceprtionally well cared for, don't worry about them.  As for my life, I'm pretty squared away no worries there either.

Your day will come, and you WILL be JUDGED -- take that to the Bank.

Are you threatening me?  Just curious, I'm not worried about being judged by you or anyone else.  But lay off the veiled threats.  I know what you have tried to do to others on the PDB before, didn't work then did it?

Go take your dog for a walk or toss a kong to him, he'll appreciate it.

           Jim,,,

I most certainly agree with you...      I was only commenting on a large fenced area and a warm create being a comfortable living arrangement.....The proper attention and interaction went without saying.......

Deanna,
I know you love your dog and spend time with him.  Please don't think my comment was directed at you or how you care for your dog.  I think Prince is a lucky dog to have you as an owner.
