Sorry niinc, but I don't know quite what you meant by that. If you mean that you thought VomMarischal was saying your dog was greyhound/shepherd, no she wasn't. She was saying some sort of hound generally -- likely the Walker hound she showed you a picture of. (Handsome dog, by the way VomMarischal, and a breed I'm not familiar with. Thanks for the photo!)
If you mean that you can't picture a greyhound/shepherd cross they're actually not terribly uncommon where I am. People breed them deliberately to run coyotes and wolves off their stock, and they're actually quite good at the job. In looks they tend to come out mostly grehound, with a slightly thicker body, the shepherd rough around the neck, and ears that stand more than a pure grey. Nice dogs -- fast, smart, and tough -- but not for the home that hopes to keep cats and other small pets!

My two cents he is a shep/rottie x. If he had hound the ears I feel would be much longer. Since he has alot of drive also.
