GSDPACK, Hope to see you down the road some day, as I'm sure I will. I've own 7 previous GSD's and none have come close to the abilities I see in these GSD's and there Progency. As stated above, the oldest ones are almost 2. So maybe I shot my mouth off to soon, (but I don't think so). Like Nadeem put it, I think in about two to three years you may hear some rumblings around the midwest about her dogs once they mature and can compete with the big boys. Take Care   Pete

My goal was to get a few dogs to breed from that I liked better than what's being peddled right and left as "working dogs." I did that; I have several I will be breeding from when I (and a few similar-minded people) run out of personal dogs. I want maybe 15-20 more years worth of that kind of dog...then I'll be done w/them for good and moving on to ocelots or something cooler. ;-)  If I'm not thrilled with the 3rd generation (since you say that's the key), oh well. Too bad. The dogs I liked will be dead anyhow, so no going back,  and I'll take up knitting. That's not enough reason to keep breeding beyond what I feel I need and can find proper homes for. I'll leave the numbers game to the puppymillers.

Or to breeders who can prove the consistency of the stock after three years. I would not call all the old breeders puppymillers, that is not fair.

I'm not calling old breeders puppymillers- odd conclusion based on what I said. Some breeders breed multiple litters every month, of nothing special or really well-thought out. They brag about 3 dogs they've produced, ever, who have amounted to anything that the public can research. My point is that the few pups I have and will have out there are doing pretty well at this point, all are being worked in some venue with the exception of 2, and that's good enough for me. I am not interested in joining ranks w/the clan who keeps a dozen brood bitches and churns out 10% quality, 40% decent, and 50%mediocre, just to brag about the 10%. Make sense? Old breeders are invaluable resources; I can't thank my mentors enough. They are FAR different than puppymillers.

Is it 3 years or 3 generations? You've said both.

Not that I'm aware of; they're just pups yet.

I have some pics, but I wouldn't post them w/out owner permission.

Wait, there's an OB training vid of Nadeem and Bravo...ask Nadeem if he'll post it. Not my place to do so. There is also a vid of Blair w/Dean Calderon...again, not my place to post it w/out owner permission.
