"Happy Jack Ear Canker Powder
On chronic cases of long duration, this powder brought complete recovery within two to five days. It promotes healing and dries up the inner ear canker as well as the external areas that may become sore and moist from the canker discharge. We recommend cleansing the ears with ether or hydrogen peroxide prior to application. Easy to apply squeeze container. Contains Zinc Oxide and Iodoform."

Does anyone have an opinion on using this powder in the dog's ears?  The main ingredient is iodoform.  I have used Zymox, and it works great.  But I was also wondering about this powder.

Not sure if i like this thread or not LOL I swim my mutt a few times a week and have even taught him to swim down to almost the bottom, to retrieve toys such as balls (I have to hold them down there though or they just pop up). I have never even thought that water in the ears could be an issue. Now you guys have me re thinking this whole swimming thing or even that it could bother their ears.
