As of Jan 2012 you can't get another scorebook if you already have one.  It's now against FCI rules.  You need to get your scorebook certified/accpted by whatever org you want to trial with, or trial with whatever org issued the scorebook.

Is the UScA a member of the AWDF or is the AWDF a member of the UScA (which is the parent club)?

UScA has had 2-3 years to comply with the WUSV mandate.........and has refused....

The WDA is not a member of the WUSV so how does this violate the WUSV constitution?

The directive states that because the GSDCA-WDA is a member of the GSDCA and that the GSDCA authorized the WDA to issue scorebooks then the UScA must accept them ..It came from Dr Clemens Lux, the General Secretary of the WUSV...........

UScA leadership has known about this for the last few years and are still playing their games to exclude WDA from trials, therefore leadership in the WDA believe its time to take it up a notch...

The problem is, it needs to be dealt with through the leader of the GSDCA, not the WDA, since the WDA is not the WUSV member the GSDCA is.  The GSDCA leader doesn't seem to have had much to say on the issue and doesn't really seem to be going to bat for the WDA.  It can't be both ways, if the WDA is aligned with the GSDCA then the GSDCA leaders are the WDA leaders too.  I don't really have any allegiance to either org but the way it looks to me is not that USCA is not complying but that the GSDCA is not doing anything about this issue for their member base.  They haven't worked with the USCA to get this issue resolved.  Why would USCA make more work for themselves trying to get members of another org with their own scorebooks entered into their trials when their leader seems pretty non-communicative?

OK, my head is spinning. I just want to train and trial my dog, and I have no clue what the future holds, so I don't want to commit just yet. 

For now, I got a confirmation by email that USCA will certify my AWDF scorebook from US Mondio ring for $40 and WDA confirmed that they will accept a scorebook, certified by USCA. It looks like I am good to go. Could it be that easy?

Does anyone see any possible problems with that or long term ramifications? It is one scorebook...
