If my males are raised together, I haven't had serious problems. sometimes they will challenge but usually not near as serious as two females. I can yell at the boys and tell them to knock it off and usually that is the end of it. the females tend to want to get in one last word. (again we are talking dogs aren't we? I keep getting them mixed up)

i think i noticed with female it just HUGE mood swings i always had males before i never noticed it. The mood swing thing can be really scary i guess. lol It just is extreme.
IT was just a bit wierd today because the two shepherds already greeted each other and knew each other but then mine turned around and nailed the other female in the butt and they both went cujo but we didnt let them touch after that we had control over the situtation was just strange it turned nasty over nothing. Mine was also so tired out and in a good mood.

@rtd -- I've also found odd numbers of males to work out for some reason. Also introducing them younger to a already established dominant male is a fairly safe bet.

listen little v it was adults talking here and trying to be funny and friendly. if you are overly politically correct then I am sorry if I offended you. I have kids older then you and have a hard time seeing anyone 21 years old as being mature.

Kali used to do that to my son-in-law, whom she hated. She'd put up with him when everyone was looking, & then try to bite him in the butt as he walked away. LOL....I don't think she ever connected, but it wasn't for lack of desire.
I think your girl has told you something worth listening to. She really doesn't like that other bitch. Maybe she'll play nice when you're watching, but she couldn't resist taking a shot, so a line has been crossed. Next time could be full on, & as someone else said, bitches are dead serious when they fight, it's not a status thing, it's to the death. Be prepared. Good luck. jackie harris
