Obviously not seen too many sable pups have you Mike? Mum is Stebara Illa, litter sister to Alison Tohmes Jake at Jotunheim and dad is Nyrvana Yesterdays Dreams, the pedigree is a mix of Belgian, German and Czech.  You can see video and stuff and the pedigree links if you are interested on www.nyrvana.co.uk or on K9Ulf's Youtube account.

No i haven't seen many sable pups,i prefer the traditional black and tans,  why are you trying to belittle me for that reason. ?

PS as a individual who very much likes German shepherds, i asked a reasonable question regarding colors, i thought the answer i got, as, well i don't really know, but i didn't feel comfortable at all, in fact it made me feel a little upset, once again,it might be i who has perceived this in an incorrect manner, but i don't think so.

Mike, When you used the word "better", it became an insult. Much better if you would have asked, "will the coat get darker, lighter, or stay the same?" Dogs are like our kids. If I came to you and asked "will your son's hair get better?" You might take offense, but if I said " will you son's red hair turn to a different color when gets older?" Not so bad. JMHO Kind regards, John Kennedy

Don't think there is any harm done Mike. Don't get your backwheels in a knot over it.

Hi Mike

I was not belittling you, just suggesting the most innoffensive reason I could think of for you not realising the pup was a sable and the light colour of the undercoat is normal for a pup of this age.  In the 1970's, I was astonished to find the black diamond on the tail of my first sable pup was not unique!  Your post came across to me as a petty criticism to be honest and I was actually trying to be civil.

In reply to your post, you state that it came across as a petty criticism,  and you were trying to be civil, well in the circles i participate in, i would not perceive that as civil.

Looking back at some of your previous posts, which are on this forum, i conclude that you do not take comments or criticism very lightly, some of your comments are a tad over, what i would call OK, close to the bone ,if you know what i mean.

To conclude this message, i would like to say, that i find you quite rude, and unjust.
