Again AKC, GRTR's and not working dogs.  Saw some of her work around some agility events and was not impressed.  Depends on the discipline, why not look at the people who consistently win at the sport in which you compete?  If you want Mondio, Michael Ellis would do, but for bitework Fernando Dosta is better.  If you want SchH or IPO I would look elsewhere, look at the track record.  Sure you may have gone for 8 or 9 years but what have you won?  Not trying to get personal but if someone wants to reach their full potential with their dog in SchH, Michael has done very little and off the top of my head, I can't think of any of his "pupils" who have either.  Again, what's your main goal?

As we are a private kennel and do many other things other than Schutzhund.  I am looking to book agility trainers, herding , clicker training just about anything dog related.  Nutritionists that sort of thing.  I've known Janice since she started training and always include her in the lineup :)  And yes Michael is spending more time at home.  I will look into everyone else mentioned as well :)

Felloffher

The name Felloffher is nothing more than a funny (maybe only to some) user name. There's no story behind it and it's not intended to be derogatory as some here take it. I was going to the coast to train as well, but my new job is really limiting by ability to get down there regularly. I'll shoot you a PM.

Duderino,
I wouldnt have any of our French Ring BC boys do a seminar.  They are just babes in the sport.  Ray Underwood introduced it here then Scott ( can't rember his last name)and his dad sort of reintroduced it when Mals became the hip thing here in BC 20 years ago.  We need fun knowlegeable teachers :)

Psycht

Duderino - are you speaking to me?  I fail to see what I have won has to do with anything.  As I said, I enjoy Michael's training style.  I enjoy attending his seminars.  My enjoying these things does not affect anyone else and if others think my time and money could be better spent going to different seminar providers, they have a right to have that opinion just as I have a right to ignore said opinion  ;-)

With that said, I am primarily an AKC style obedience person and while I have titled in Schutzhund, I do not consider it my sport of choice due to my breed and the lack of training opportunities in the area I live.  I am currently working towards an OTCh with my youngest dog.

For SchH Debbie Zappia and Bernhard Flinks are awesome.  I would highly recommend either of them.  Debbie is unbelievable in all around OB, one of the best and her tracking seminars are awesome.  Bernhard is great with bite work and OB as well.  Both would be well worth it and their knowledge, track record and experience crosses several sports and disciplines.

Ellis and Croyer are tops

Chaz Reinhold

Like Psycht said, think Ellis wants you to come to him. I'll second jim's choices. Always like Ivan, or you can go with someone similar that trains with him in Greg Doud. His gf, Bridget?, is excellent in obedience and gives numerous seminars mostly to akc competitors. You can probably get a package deal. Les flores is somewhat close to you.

Maybe ask Felloffer about Vince Nelles before making a comment like that.
