I've been working my dogs every day and Hero is ready for BH. Its not an actual "title", but its a step in the right direction . Why do you ask?
I'll have to get another bicycle and attachment so I can get back to AD work......My schedule is slipping.

That's great. I ask because I thought you sent Hero away to be titled in Kentucky? I was just curious how the training went?

Since then, I've been working to get him to look into my eyes and am working to get him to focus more while heeling. He's pays attention, but will probably never have the focused heel that so many of the top dogs have.
Hero LOVES tracking. He's happy to follow footsteps in any pattern I pud down. I don't know how to get him to "signal" on an article though.
Does anyone know of a good instructional DVD that I can get?
My bike has not turned up so I guess I'll have to get another. I was hoping that it would show up at the police department or a pawn shop, but no luck. Without their daily bike rides, these dogs are driving all of us crazy......

Get Joanne Plumb's videos on tracking form Canine Training Systems. These are the best videos I have seen on tracking. You would really benefit from them. The articles are an obedience exercise and taught off the track. Someone at your club should be able to show you how to teach the dog article indication.

Now I'm waiting for the dog jogger attachment. We're going to have sanity in our home soon - tired dogs are good dogs!
Also waiting for the DVD.... I'm looking forward to learning about tracking.
