Like I said Shirley, there's no reasoning with the unreasonable, by the same token theres no sense nor reason in anything they do.

Mike,

Please do answer why a breeder and judge of 40 years standing seems to be breeding from animals which have not been health tested. Or am I wrong?

And while you are at it Mike,   please let us know is that why you are happy with the Kennel Club,as I was trying to explain to Jan on another thread.?   she might like to take notice of this thread, as you have told her all she needs to know really about "alsations" and the truth of the matter.   You have demonstrated here what I was trying to write.

You cause no trouble because you dont hassle them to take any regard for HD or anything else for that matter.  You call the corrrect type of dog cripples - thats a word for the workhouses of yesteryear, what a disgrace.

I expect Highlander and the rest of your stock dont need to have hip scores because they can run?  Thats normally what un-educated people say to sell a pup, or the sly and crafty ones which really know better but dont acknowledge it.

Come on Mike, dont snivvle that we are anialating you on the pdb.  Put your neck in the noose when you nothing of the subject and expect that you will be found wanting.   Go get your dogs health checked before you come on heer talking about such nonsense.

Rosie called one of your colleages for a puppy, and was told the dam wasnt hip scored but he was going to use a dog that was, so that would be fine.   You need your back-sides kicking. Rosie went elsewhere, but she could have bought from this man and believed him, and would you or your mateys been there for her if she had to face the inevitable with  her dog.. no course not...... and thats only H.D.  -      Mo.

the reason they gave years ago,why they didnt hip score their stock was......THEY DIDNT WANT THEM PUT OUT COZ THEY COULD DIE UNDER THE ANAESTECTIC.well these days they dont hav to go under, they can be sedated and once x-rays taken they,re given another shot to come round.curtis was the 1st of mine to be done this way back in 2000/2001.all mine are now done this way.i usually have this done at Lesley,s vet in hastings(as he takes ex.plates)and has a good idea of approx wot score yu,re gona get.i even took a female there and back on 2 buses and 2 trains. To answer a couple of Questions. Firstly non of my dogs have ever suffered with Hip problems even at the ripe old age of 13yrs. That was the age Highlander died which is still very painfull to talk about. You see he loved other dog and every day a guy would come along our road walking his pet and our Patrick loved to go and say hello. That fatefull day some prat had left the gate open and he just strolled over the road. I saw him from the kitchen window and tried to call him back, then the car hit him and then I had to go out and bring him in doors.  We had to put him down later that day. All the litters he sired not one puppy ever had HD. He was never scored but many of his children did.  Ch Mikadene Lionheart of Scuvelle had a score of 1-9. The 9 side was due to an injury so I am told by Carol his owner. Now this dogs litter sister can't remember her name went to Cynthia Bampton of the Shuvelle kennels. Do many of you know this kennel ?. She had both German and English type of dog. Well she phoned me up all excited and she told me she had got the bitch scored and it was the lowest score she had ever had it was 2-3 . She said how do you produce dogs with low scores when you don't score your own dogs. Well I do my homework and it usually takes me about a year to choose two dogs to breed Not one dog has ever had a score higher than 10 and he was made up. I will tell you why I have never scored my dogs. Like all good boys I was told I must score and get a certificate. that was befor elbows came in. Well I did on one of my best little girls and she died under anestetic. That broke my heart and if I must score then I will but I would sooner have my dog than a piece of paper. When it becomes mandortory that will be the time I will do it. Someone asked where do you see dogs like our Alsatians, well have you ever looked across the pond to the USA and Canada and Mexico. They look just like ours.
Mikadene Highlander had perfect flowing gait. He won best puppy< and 2 best of breeds and best in show at the UK club something no one else have achieved. One judge sent him round the ring 4 times just to see him move and commented what a super dog he was and had that Flying gait the USA dogs have and the Germanic dogs don't have. I haven't updated my web page for quite along time due to me having a stroke and I seem to struggle with computers these days. If you want to update it for me I would be so gratfull. No matter what type of dog you like people can still be nice to each other. When I look at a dog gaiting I want to see it's hock's to be at 90 degrees to the ground at all times when gaiting in a straight line do you aggree on that. Do you agree that the spine should be straight. like a ruler. Do you believe that the front angulation should be 90 degrees. I am sure if you sign the KC paper and get rid of the roach the other problems will ammend themselves.
On the point of double Handling ,Well I was knocked over by a prat that was running around the outside of the ring at Doncaster. I was told to get out of the bloody way. After that I stuck my foot out. It is in the rules no outside attraction if you can't read then I will read it for you. It is the rules. If you drive your car with 10 pints of bear on board you will more than likely get pulled by the Police.  You must be rulled by the rules or go to a country that will allow it..
Oh I am asking too much here did you like Highlander lol?.

Take the Mickadene-now we all know where the word HOGWASH came from.
Also I noticed you keep using the word PRAT did you get that from standing in front of the mirror.

Mikadene,

Too much chest beating for me to believe -

dog killed on road - I can feel for you there as that happened to mine Mascani Mikado many years ago, one day after he gained his Junior Warrant, as such a young dog.

Another girl died under anaesthetic having her hips done

You havent updated your website  because you have had a stroke

Lionhearts 1 : 9 score was due to an injury

Bloody hell - is your second name Lucky ?

and you finish by saying that no matter what type of dog we have we can be nice to each other.   The first post you wrote here called the correct type of animal a cripple and told us to wake up and smell coffee...... dont expect dsob stories to wear any more.....

Hope your health gets better, your website tis up and running, your unscored dogs continue to produce best scores in the country and that you dont lose another bitch inder anaesthetic turning you off doing the right thing.    BULL

At least if you are going to list any of highlander's progeny hip scores get your facts correct as abreeder you should be aware of what your dogs produce:
Firstly MIKADENE LIONHEART AT SCHUVELLE  had a score of 9/2 (11) submitted 21/08/1997

Secondly list all the other scores of the few progeny that were scored (7)
1) 4/5 (9)
2) 2/5 (7)
3) 29/26 (55)
4) 6/3 (9)
5) 38/36 (74)
6) 9/2 (11) Lionheart
7) 3/2 (5)

All 10 or under? I think not!

by noddi on 17 March 2010 - 19:03

the alsatianists will never see the light,so why are we bothering.didnt he say that the cc will all be going back to the alsatianists.in your dream mate.wot about the others who do have a more correct type of gsd,but dont show their animals the german way.they will be the ones who IMO.will be getting the cc relinquished by the clubs who have had the guts to say NO to the kc.i,m sure Gary Gray will be liasing with the kc in regards to judges.i feel sorry for Gary,as i,m sure he is going to lose a lot of entries for next years crufts from people who would have entered under him, including me.unless something changes with the kc  attitude to the germanic fraternity I WILL NOT BE ENTERING NOR GOING TO WATCH.Carole Spelman
